Mid Winter Weekend Adventure and all my classes at the Fabric Stash

This weekend I attended the Mid Weekend Adventure at the Fabric Stash. I was with new friends and old friends. We had an absolutely fabulous time. Sewing, laughing and especially eating the most delicious food you could imagine cooked by Eddi plus desert by Eddi and Brenda. I would like to take this time to thank; Laurel for being the great sewing teacher she is. Eddi for his multi talents in design, color coordination and many more. Brenda for her great skill in quilting with the long arm, as well as being amazing in many other talented ways. Jennifer and Rain were also superb at their jobs. It was a weekend to remember for a long time to come. Can't wait fot the next one. All of you are truely the BEST. I feel so blessed to have you all in my life! I have never known sewing to be this much fun!

Learning to quilt is a very satisfying and a boost to my self esteem when a new quilt is turned out to my satisfaction. Thanks to Laurel's patience and helpful staff for giving me the opportunity to discover my inner talents and creativity.

Love - love - love

From Laurel, the owner, to Eddie, Brenda + Jen, the staff, they can't help you enough. They will drop what they are doing, and just help you. The store has a very large variety of fabric, yarn, patterns, notions + samples. They also give classes, that are interesting, informative and lots of fun...
I absolutely love - love - love "The Fabric Stash".

Puzzle quilt

This quilt was such a challenge in that I had to select over 15 different fabrics....each piece looked like a piece of a jigsaw puzzle shaped like a large. H. in selecting a design and thread color to finish this quilt, Brenda gave her all to help me with this task.....the finished quilt is amazing and very impressive. I am working on a new one and will certainly return to the stash for finishing....great place.....

Make It Take It

Dear Laurel,
Thanks for all your patience with Kayla and the rest of us. I don't
think she realizes the investment in her material and I can only hope
she takes good care of it. She called her Dad, on business in CA as
soon as she got in her car, telling him of her great day.

When she got home, around 7PM, she pinned material on her manniquin
and cut out a skirt. She wanted to sew it, but Megan said no, time for
bed with school the next day. She was nervous about going to your
shop, didn't eat her lunch, but you made her day. Thanks. Joanne
